About this website

Hi! I'm roadrunner, but I also go as socks in some places. I made this website over winter break as a hobby project. I've always loved how the Web connects people and opens up whole new worlds of knowledge and exploration. We're living in a golden age of information, and I wanted to contribute to that by making my own website. The last time I touched HTML or CSS was in 7th grade for a computer class, and all of my coding skills were promptly forgotten once I finished. I decided to try to recall those distant memories and make this site.

In real life I'm a university student currently studying biomedical sciences. I also contribute to a FOSS video game called Endless Sky in my free time.

I call myself roadrunner after the Jonathan Richman song. When roadrunner isn't available, or when I feel like it, I call myself socks instead, after this guy from Whatever Happened to Robot Jones:

I liked that TV show as a kid, it's underrated in my opinion. Actual socks are great too.
